Pushpa 2, Starring Allu Arjun, Rashmika Mandanna, Postponed, Not To Release On August 15
Pushpa 2 postponed: The highly anticipated Allu Arjun-starrer ‘Pushpa 2: The Rule’ will not hit theaters as originally scheduled on August 15, 2024, according to reports. The film has reportedly been indefinitely postponed.

Track Tollywood reports that the film's release has been indefinitely postponed due to extensive post-production work. The film’s original editor, Karthika Srinivas, has departed from the project, with Navin Nooli stepping in to finalise the edits.
According to IANS, director Sukumar is considering reshooting some portions of the film to enhance the quality of the VFX. This revision is expected to ensure a better visual experience for the audience.
While there has been no official confirmation from the film’s producers regarding the delay, 'Pushpa 2' is now anticipated to be released during Diwali.
With the postponement of 'Pushpa 2,' producers of Hindi, Tamil, and Telugu films are now eyeing the August 15 release date for their projects, according to IANS.
Singham Again also postponed
Apart from Pushpa 2, Ajay Devgn starrer Singham Again also pushed its release date from August 15 to Diwali.
Filmmaker Rohit Shetty took to social media to share a poster featuring the title of his upcoming film and the new release date. In the caption, Rohit wrote: “Sher aatank machata hai, zakhmi sher tabahi! See you in the cinemas once again… This Diwali." Ajay Devgn also posted, "#SinghamAgain roaring this Diwali 2024." During the trailer release of his upcoming film 'Auron Mein Kahan Dum Tha' on Thursday, Ajay provided an update on "Singham Again": "Some work on the film is still left, we have to shoot some parts. It's a big film, and we don't want to do things in haste. Jaldbaazi mein kaam kharab hota hai and we don't want that to happen (things often take a turn for the worse when done in haste, and we don’t want that to happen with our film)."
