Animal Box Office Collection Day 8: Ranbir Kapoor's Film Is Going Strong, Mints More Than Rs 350 Crore

New Delhi: Directed and written by Sandeep Reddy Vanga ‘Animal’ premiered in theatres on December 1. The action drama was successful in attracting moviegoers to the cinemas, despite negative reviews and online criticism. ‘Animal’ kept up its momentum after a strong first week. The box office performance of ‘Animal’ has been consistent. The film, which stars Ranbir Kapoor and Rashmika Mandanna, hit the Rs 300 crore milestone only one week after it opened in theatres.

Ranbir Kapoor-starrer ‘Animal’ is unstoppable! The movie is exceeding expectations at the box office. On its eighth day in theatres, Animal grossed more than 350 crore Indian rupees and close to 600 crore rupees globally. The most recent release has put the film ahead of ‘Sanju’, Ranbir's highest-grossing film to date, in terms of lifetime domestic box office collection.

Sacnilk has estimated that on day 8, the Sandeep Reddy Vanga directorial grossed Rs 23.50 crore. This raises Animal's total BO collection to 361.08 crore rupees. Surprisingly, ‘Animal’ has disproved the idea and the practice of a typical decline in box office receipts on Mondays after the first weekend.

The film review on ABP Live reads: 'Animal' depicts the drive for vengeance that turns one blind to both good and bad choices, much like any other revenge tale. The notion that perspective matters more than truth is no secret, and an enraged person interprets right and wrong based on his values. Another argument goes that since movies are merely works of fiction, they shouldn't be interpreted literally. But opinions like these typically arise when the concern is men overstepping their bounds, and they vanish when the filmmakers tackle more complex social concerns. In one of the most absurd scenes, guns are fired to celebrate Ranbir Kapoor's character Ranvijay's homecoming as he walks out of the house naked. That's how the "Alpha" man implies his manhood and sense of power."

When Shah Rukh Khan's film ‘Dunki’ will be released on December 21, the collection of ‘Animal’ might suffer. The opening weekend of ‘Dunki’ will undoubtedly be remarkable, and it will undoubtedly set new records at the box office.
