Priyanka Chopra To Reunite With Co-Star Ranveer Singh For Don 3: Report

New Delhi: Priyanka Chopra Jonas had been reported to be joining the project when it was officially announced that Ranveer Singh would be taking over the 'Don' franchise. It's been a while since the actor appeared in a Hindi movie. Filmmaker Farhan Akhtar has focused entirely on 'Don 3' and actor Ranveer Singh will play the lead role in the upcoming sequel instead of Shah Rukh Khan. 


According to Hindustan Times, Akhtar is currently striving to get back together with his co-stars from 'Dil Dhadakne Do'.


“The team of Don 3 has indeed approached Priyanka Chopra to revisit her character. In fact, the first few meetings also took place when Priyanka came to India recently for another professional commitment. She used her time in India to align the talks and figure out her next project in the Hindi film industry,” a source told the publication.


Priyanka Chopra played Roma Bhagat, a.k.a. Junglee Billi, in the Don franchise. 


“Priyanka has a very close bond with Farhan, and is trying to make it work and checking her schedule. Her return might also become a reality as Shah Rukh is no longer associated with the project,” the source added.
